Episode Summary
It’s been nearly a year since Yusuke, Hiei and Kurama arrived in Demon World, each firmly enmeshed in its tense power struggle. Now, the three former teammates are in high positions on conflicting sides, as they head towards an inevitable clash. With Raizen’s time drawing to an end, Yusuke must act fast in order to keep the tenuous peace in Demon World.

Raizen.. i could see how the story fits in but why did he have to die? I know there is SOMETHING else he could’ve ate. Pardon my ignorance.
Since demons need to eat humans to survive… Hiei must have been hitting the buffet everytime he vanishes. Yusuke and Kurama are human or part human so perhaps they don’t have to eat people, but Hiei for sure. It’s also hard picturing Yukina devouring Human flesh. I got it!! Hiei is definetly hitting the Buffet and Yukina is munchin on snow cones.

Damn that fight with Raizen/Yusuke and that old spirit detective was hot, kinda reminds of hollow ichigo. I hope I can see a fight like that.

This is because when a king dies his successor immediately becomes king/ queen, a country with a monarchy such as England never is without its ruler.
I’m still confused. Do ALL demons have to eat humans, or just some (like Raizen)? Isn’t there anything else they can eat?

Um, raizen isnt his direct father… hes way too old to have been.
Atsuko is yusukes real mother, Raizen is about 40 or so generations before. Yusuke is the closest thing to a son for Raizen thats why he refers to him as son, however that woman is yusukes ancestor not his mother.
Vegeta, stop picking on Yusuke!
We are to assume that Atsuko is a descendant of this woman. Raizen is not his ACTUAL father. Yusuke never knew or even met his father so Raizen is something of a father figure, however messed up that may seem.
