Episode Summary
High school student Kazuma Kuwabara is having a typical day. He is studying hard for his college entrance exams and fending off the flirtatious glances from his female admirers. But nothing could prepare him for what happens when he arrives at a mysterious meeting with Genkai. Surprise follows surprise as one by one each member of the old gang shows up! But where is Yusuke?

Probably the best episode besides the first 3-4 or so
best anime ending by far, have seen nothing that competes with the way it rounds up the whole story and so nicely too

The series dramatically went downhill after season 2. Toguro and others were so much more menacing back then. Those demons were supposed to be B class demons and it took everything Yu Yu and his team had to beat those guys back then. Now Yu Yu and his team are fighting the Lords of the Underworld that are supposed to be able to wipe the floor with demons such as Toguro; however, the fights are terrible and such a let down.
Season 2 was by far the best. These S class demons were a joke and not nearly as fun to watch as Toguro and those from Season 2.
I can’t believe I wasted 2 days watching season 3 and 4…what a waste of time.

They should bring this show back it is one of the best ever! i mean now if they brought it bacck the could continue with a whole new story like how yusuke and that girl got married and Kuwibara is the new spirt detevctive and yuskue tags along with him

Pssh yusuke is way to badass to tag along with kuwibara, but they should bring it back maybe like ten years later or something, im sure they would have a bunch of fans to tune in. ill miss this and hope that one day they continue the story.thanks watch-yuyuhakusho.com i saw most of the seris on your site, and the ones you didnt have it just took me bit to find them elsewhere, this was one of my favorive shows as a kid and im glad to be able to relive it now. now my favorite line from the show to end this all with. “A mullbery is a tree and kuwibara is man.”
i loved this series so much!!! i can’t believe he had to end. but it was an awesome ending just wished that hiei was with them at the beach.

fantastic series. The last five episodes were everything I wanted them to be. Every plot element was completed and each character solved their personal dilemma’s. It was a great series and I hope they revive it some day.
An exceptional ending to an exceptional anime. Honestly though… i’m not sad it ended. were it to go any further, it wouldn’t have maintained it’s brilliant story line. Yusake(sp?) Urameshi will forever hold the title of greatest spirit detective in the eyes of all ^_^

Great anime and, as most have said, one of the best endings to an anime that I’ve seen… though there is nothing like the sad, empty feeling you get when you realize that this was the end of it and that there won’t be another episode to follow…
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YAH TONE….it’s been a LOOOONG time since I watched yu yu hakusho and one day this month I thought to myself “why not watch yu yu hakusho again?” Boy am I glad I decided to relive Yusuke’s adventures!!! Awesome anime with a unique story line. The show never missed a beat, and it didn’t really seem to ever rush anything like a lot of today’s anime’s do. Well done by putting up all of these episodes for our enjoyment!
I will miss this series so much, and i might try hunter x, but just cuz its over doesn’t mean u cant watch it again, the series is even better as second and even a third time. This was my third time. Ill go for 4th later this year just to space it out. This show reminisced me when i was young and and it still does. In my eyes it will remain the best anime i have ever seen. Brilliant storyline, Living Characters, Epic battles,Enticing Music, and the best sub Ive ever seen

After the fourth time of watching the series, it is still by far the best I have ever seen. No anime compares to Yu Yu Hakusho. It always brings back nostalgic memories of the show when I first saw it on Cartoon Network’s Tunami. I absolutely cherish the final episode as it fits the show perfectly and ties up all loose ends. I’ll most definitely return to a fresh start of the show in a couple of months but by then I plan to own the series myself. Thank you Admin and Drago for the support and video hosting.

Code Geass had the best ending of all the shows in the world
but this one was awesome too. The fights did suck but the seasons were worth watching, if you notice episodes 1-5 and this one are slice of life while the rest is action, I always found that weird. The wrap up was ok, but a bit weird too o-o and like DBZ they made their characters too powerful at the end, but the fact they lost the tornment and decide to live their life means they didn’t way over do it. I find it dumb how in both DBZ and this they put a large stress on death, even though the main characters have died and come back, well by the time you reach the epic middle you forget the first part. Btw, season three was great if you can appreciate those types of fights, mental ones, but season four had moderate fights. Btw, Toguro and Yusuke had the worst fight in the history of fights…

This was the best anime show I’ve ever watched!! I used to watch DBZ with my friend since he has the first 5 season and his older brother showed us this show saying it was made by the same creators of DBZ. It’s so sad that it’s all over, I wish they kept going with it, but this series had the most satisfying ending ever! Now I should watch the rest of the DBZ seasons…

A part of me died with the ending of this series. It was a fantastic series and one of the best i’ve ever seen. I had to watch it a second time just to reminisce a bit on my past. Good job guys, hope everybody enjoys it as much as i did.

Oh…my…god! NOOOO! I missed watching this entire series every day in the morning. Why? Why must it end? Hell, XD, I remember when it was on Toonami and they kept replaying it AFTER the first fight of the Finals. Man, I got so made. I wanted to see if Yusuke ever one and I kept seeing clips of Hiei falling asleep. I didn’t enjoy when they kept replaying it over and over until someone finally got off their buts and finished dubbing the episodes. But, overall! BEST ANIME EVER!

I’ve finally acoomplished one of my goals in life, and that was to finish this series. I wanna thank the admins for putting up with the constant demand of people reporting bad links. I know it must be a huge pain having to constantly replace videos. I actually feel like hugging the admins cause without them I would’ve never gotten to finish this. Bravo, My second time watching this through, and it still made me cry a little :*) I didnt like knowing that it would end, but it did so on a high note and this may very well be my favorite anime ever. i with they would make a second series where yuske is re-enstated as spirit detective or somthing, and then Hiei will finally tell yukina that hes her borther, and then Yusuke and Keiko will get married…… hell im starting production! i need a staff………………………. ehhh nvm the voice actors probably moved on and it wouldnt be the same. o well…….. anyway it was a good ride and, as “Yu Yu Yo!” said, the series did indeed go out with a ….”BANG”
I haven’t watched the last episode yet because when I was younger I thought the season ended with 111 I cried then. Now im about to watch 112. after reading the comments my tears are begining to return. Makers of this site and this series thank you. For some reason this site puts me in a bitter sweet mood. Im grateful all the video post but, also sad that now after I watch this there will be nothing more for me to look forward to. Its ironic that the thing thats can make you the most happy can throw you into the deepest depression. Show and site creators, this depression is well worth it.

I loved this series and at the end I cried even though I’m emotionally stunted. It was a great anime. You guys did a great job. My days are gonna be empty with out is but it was fun while it lasted.

Man. What a bummer that it had to end. In one instance, it has to end at some point and the characters have to move on, but on the other hand, it was SOOO good while it lasted ^-^. Even though I felt the ending was slightly corny, I STILL teared up (and I don’t usually do that). Some how, you got attached to these characters I guess (the sign of a good author/story in general). Like someone said earlier, the show makers had the maturity to end the story (unlike a certain show cough***DBZ***cough. Modern shows like Naruto (which I love) seem to keep going and going (Bleach is terrible right now and has been for at least 50 chapters (manga)). But Naruto is awesome. Now when that show ends, I want the same feelings or stronger than the one I experienced with this show (thats right, when Naruto ends, I want to be wrecked lol)!

WOW…..that is pretty much all you can say after a series like this one. it started out corny as hell, but that is what made the rest of it so much better. i agree with some where it should have explained things a little better in the last season. like hieye and yukina, yurameshi and keiko, and why yuske didnt come back right after the chapter black tourniment…..as hes tlaking to his father, they were both saying that he was going home to earth and then coming back…..and yet…the last eppisode says he didnt come back a whole year after…..and they deffinatly should have made at least one more season with him winning and actually becoming the king of demon world. like in the future after keiko dies…..he just goes to demon world and reigns for the rest of his life winning evry year or some crap like that you know……anyway…..def by far one of the best animes EVER!!!….any true watcher cant really say it is the best because there is no best just a couple up there tied with first…..lol……but i do believ the last episode was the most touching out of any anime out there…..my god….as yurameshi says….*BANG!*………dot dot dot

Yu Yu Hakusho. One of the most action packed and perfectly choreographed anime ever. This show will go down in history as one of THEE best anime ever. There is only one thing I regret about this show… seeing it end. I would like to thank all the Admins who keep up this site. It’s because of you that I was able to finish the story I first took up years ago. In thankfulness and respect to the creators, admins, and in remembrance of Yu Yu Hakusho: Shizuru, Botan, Yukina, Puu, Koenma, Genkai, Hiei, Kurama, Kuwabara, Keiko & Yusuke… ~Bang~

If anyone wants to know the music at the end, it’s the second half of the english version of Hohoemi no Bakudan(the opening theme). Oh my god this is my most favorite anime ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish they made more…like just until Keiko and Yusuke started dating and Hiei told Yukina who he really is and if Kuwabara ever got a girlfriend that would make it complete.(Thanks for letting me ramble, but I really do want the series to continue.)Hiei’s story about his past made me cry…

i watch this show when i was a little kid, and this show is one of the best anime series that never disappoints and i am truely happy that i finally got to finish all of it, these series have such feeling to them and it makes you want to become someone in life instead of just watching life go by and every time i watch this show i alway feel like it encorages me to stay close to the ones i care about because there all i have and im all that they have. people after watching this series think about what these episodes mean, when you unstand them they will help through your trails through life just like on these series. thank you for this website alexander j. valadez

Started watching this anime when I was younger and loved it, but never got to finish it, finally got to, only thing i wish they had done was extended the last arch a little longer instead of just blowing right through it.

Loved this show as a kid, but lost track of it when they changed the timings to the non-child friendly 11:00 P.M status. Thanks to this site for helping me finish this series. BTW im glad its over…this just seems like the right way to end it

This may be my all time favorite anime series. I used to watch it as a kid and it definitely had an impact on my childhood. I remember staying up on Saturday nights just to watch this show. Thanks to this website I was able to catch up on the last season. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since they stopped broadcasting the series but still I hope someone can revive the series in someway but until then there is always watching the series again from the beginning just like old times.

I have rewatched the whole series on this site thank you very much, however I agree with CTAtlanta about the series going downhill after season 2 a little bit. I mean its liked they rushed things far to much. This could have had extra episodes leading to this end. But this is one of the best endings I’ve seen. As I watched this anime I always felt like it was rushing and fast maybe it is cause im used to animes having fillers or wasting episodes for something stupid.
Damn I’m really sad the anime ended, I mean I think it started going a little downhill after season 2, like when Yusuke got his demonic powers, that should have been half of the whole story and another part unfolds. But that lead to the end kinda of and that was it. It really started getting better but to me season 4 sucked and was way to short and the tournament happened in 7 fucking episodes. It seemed like Yusuke didn’t even really get any stronger its like they just said after season 3 I’m bored of this manga/anime I’m going to end it.

I’ve had a rough life like I’m sure many people here have had. This show was a fond memory of when I was younger that I used to watch late at night on adult swim; although they stopped showing it after awhile. I am happy with the way it all ended with so much to take in; the way everything came together including the music. I truly enjoyed watching the last 6 episodes of the series. OMG best ending ever. Their right when they say that the ending is always the best and worst part of a show. When I finished this show a part of me definately went with it. It would be amazing if they continued this series, but unfortunately I highly doubt they will after such a long time. This is definately one of my top 4 favorite animes along with Bleach, One Piece and Inuyasha. I used to watch this show on Cartoon Network when I was younger considering I’m nearly 14 now. I must have been anywhere form 6-10. Somehow after 4 years I remembered I used to watch this show and felt compelled to finish it. This was definately the best ending of all time. Although I do agree that Hieh should have been there and he should of stopped being a pussy and told his sister who he really was. It will take me a while to get over the end of this show it was just so amazing. I just wanted to give a huge thanks to anyone who has ever worked on this website as you have helped me relive my childhood.

i originally watched this show when toonami was an everyday program on cartoon network. After about four years of excepting i would never see the end i came across this site and watched all the episodes i never got to see. I just hope yusuke gives up the fighting to be with keiko it would suck if she died then he just kept living in demon world… just wouldnt be a fitting end
This is my fav anime of all time. It had an amazing ending but the fact that it did end sucked. Unfortunately truth be told all great things must come to an end or they eventually lose their greatness. Still my fav anime.

Last week I suddenly had an urge to watch this again to reminisce my childhood days… wow, this Anime beats every anime/s, 3Ds, CGI whatever you call it that we have right now.. It has the most out of the box story and good moral lesson one can learn from..

I’m in ahh still. I loved how the ending was, but I wish they showed everyone literally in the future like with kids and who the new spirit detective is and all that. Overall good ending I would really wish that this show would come back because I can’t stand waiting for Naruto and Bleach every week.
Forget the haters – I don’t think the story ever went down. It showed the characters growing, with a great bit of fighting, action, and a perfect touch of romance and comedy added in the correct places.

O.k.! Here’s the thing. Dragon-Ball Z stayed on air, what like almost 20 years. I refuse to believe that this is all that the creator were able to do with the genre. We have a whole new vast Demon world to explore and a tournament. More season can be generated from these concepts. Seems to me that somebody got lazy! Pass this along to the right people because I am pissed. There are many great anime shows besides Naruto, Bleach and Dragon-ball Z that don’t even make it to the states. Then this is one with probably on of the more premiere story lines and I fill that it was cut short to fill 4 season. Who did the contract? Seriously, shows like this need to be recycled. THINK ABOUT IT…

is instead of Yusuke showing up, he would’ve grabbed Kaiko’s boobs
and she would’ve turned around to slap him outta instinct, then gasps.
Then Yusuke says, “Man, I’ve been beaten up by Rando, Toguro, Sinsui, and two of the strongest demons ever, and your slap still hurts most of all”.

Even without knowing how many episodes there were..you can tell it was ending with the tournament..everyone who lost was at such peace with it. Well done!

the only thing that brings down my mood is that i have now seen all the
yu yu hakusho episodes, only 1 thing to do now i suppose and that is to buy/download all of the yu yu hakusho episodes/movies and add them to my new collection of anime to charish until i die!
there was only a few things that were never settled, such as kuwabara expressing his feelings to yukina and hiei swallowing his pride and telling yukina he is her long lost brother. however i can live with it because with the way they ended it, i think it would have made for an awkward ending.
all i can do is smile, it was a beautiful way to end this anime.
this anime is definetly ranked high up in my favorite animes of all time!

I loved it! It’s my favorite anime ever, now to read the manga! I so love Kurama, he’s calm, kind, intelligent and smart–but, can be extremely cruel to his enemies though! Another thing I love Kurama is, he has no GF! hahaha! The author is really superb, he made only Yuusuke to have a GF, kuwabara to have an un-requited love, Heie to be so stubborn and all. The best anime I’ve ever watch!
When Kuwabara and Kurama are on the metro together, they pass by a billboard that says “YUYUHAKUSHOEND” hahaha nice job of the artists to add that in…

It has a good storyline, but I can sense that the author doesn’t have a good story to tell because it’s all about spirit detective, and it doesn’t make sense if it goes further. One of the best anime I’ve watched and it ends in a good way.

Ah, I wish Hiei’s whole storyline was wrapped up T_T And I wish that stupid cyborg never existed D:< I almost cried when I realized they'd never show Yukina when she finally found out he was her brother… Hiei needs to stop being so freaking amazing so I can hate him for loving Mukuro. Really great ending other than that though, I'm really going to miss the countless hours I've wasted watching this.

Took me 5 days to watch from episode 1-112. Now I do not know what to do.
The show did go downhill after tugoru, the battles just weren’t as intense. It turned from action and emotional power increases to easy battles that were quick. With no emotional growth or extreme release of powers. The show pretty much ended with Sensui.
Its a shame.
Togashi is definitly my favorite, now lets hope he could finish Hunter X Hunet.

No anime that extends for more than 60 episodes (and even then) has held my attention and good opinion as Yu Yu Hakusho. Throughout the show, the plot and characterization remain consistent, and the ending–well, this is one of the best conclusions I’ve ever seen to an anime. Some leave you confused, full of questions, or as if there’s more to be done, but this one is a great happy ending. You’re not glad that it IS over, but it does leave you feeling glad; that’s great difference between Yu Yu Hakusho and the more mundane action anime.
I wish they would start this show back up again when they have their next demon world tournament. The tournaments were always my favorite parts in the whole series but the dark tournament was better, cuz every fight was cool. Why does everything have to end?

This is the single anime that I watch, and it never gets old. Every time, I’m enchanted by the characters and fall in love with them all over again, every last one. The complexities of them all never fail to keep me sucked in. Can’t even begin to describe this series, I’m a huge Naruto fan and have been for a while but I decided to take a break from it and find a new series to skim across, I remembered this show from when I was younger and decided I had to finish it, after the watching the first episode I was hooked and didn’t look back, after 2 weeks of watching I’ve become totally attached and can’t believe that it has ended, definitely the best series of all time and makes Naruto look pointless, great plot throughout. Amazing ending to an amazing anime. Thankyou for the website creators for allowing me to go back to my childhood days of watching this on toonami. I didn’t really watch it as much as i could have due to dragon ball z being right after and me not caring as much about any other shows. But yu yu hakusho is definetly my top animes of all time.
I love this anime more than any other, and though im sad to some extent that it is over, i am glad that they ended it right and with dignity. They didnt try to drag it out and the ending gave closure to the characters personal struggles. Although, i do wish hiei would tell yukina about him,but not kuwabara because him not knowing is funny as hell ahaha

This ending sucks, it was much better in the manga. and they left out an entire story arc.
In this episode Genkai was already supposed to have been dead for a year now, and this was to be a reading of her will.
Kuwabara and yukina now live together with his sister and father, yes, Kuwabaras father. in the anime his parents are dead. but they are alive in the manga.
a rogue sect of spirit world was trying to destroy Yusuke’s home town in attempt to kill him with an orbiting space laser.
Yusuke opens a ramen shop as a cover for his spirit detective for hire business.
Yusuke had only sent 1 year in demon world and came back right away. instead of 3 in the manga. and keiko now lives with yusuke.
Koenma had found out that demon world is actually not evil, but was also a protector of human world. King Yenma in an attempt to take totalitarian control of human world, brain washed demons into killing innocent humans thus making demons look evil.
almost every case Yusuke was on including the sanc beasts were brain washed by king yenma.
Koenma had overthrown spirit worlds ruling class including King Yenma, and took control of spirit world.
demon world and spirit world both are now protectors of human world.
2 seasons worth of material were left out of the anime.

This and Inuyasha are the greatest animes, but YUYU has better supporting cast and theme music(especially the slow playing theme music during a heartfelt moment). Stopped watching in 03 and picked it back up last month. Botan, Koenma, and George(Koenma’s assistant) were my favorites.

I spent the past few days rewatching all the episodes from 1-112 and I can say, my childhood wouldn’t be the same without the many great animes of the time.
Now, to only hope a new anime series will rise to the level of this magnificent work.

Good show. Kept me so engrossed I finished it in like a week. Felt like the final arc could have been paced better, but from what I’ve heard the creator was starting to exhibit serious health issues because of the amount of work entailed so I guess it was for the best. Now I don’t know what to watch next…

I want more Yu Yu Hakusho. I wish someday they revive this anime.

the best anime ever i’ve seen alot of animes and most of them at the end made me cry but i didnt on this one dont get me rong the ending is just happyer compared to other endings i wish they made an ova but then we would keep asking for more untill it got so suxy no one wanted to wach it lol

I have never watched DBZ and i feel a little conflicted about that. I guess i should follow up with that now.

Man thank you so much this has brought back so many warm childhood memories i wish that they would bring it back or continue the story but sadly they wont i will watch all this again in another 10 years and smile they dont make such heart warming anime anymore. Yusuke and Keiko Kuwabara and Yukina Hiei and Murakuo Koenma botan Genkai even Pu shizuru ill miss them all dearly.
I have to say thanks to the creators of this website for allowing fans to reconnect to their child-hood memories and the ability for those not of that time to experience one of the greatest anime series out there. A lot of fists thrown and lessons learned. This show will forever be missed but fornever forgotten. Truly went out with a “Bang”.
What made this anime so incredible was that each and every character was easy to like : Yuseke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Koenma, Botan, etc.

If Raizen died because he stopped eating humans, how could the barrier be destroyed.Won’t demons get hungry and just cross over to human world to grab a bite whenever they please?How come Hiei doesnt eat humans or souls; does he never get hungry? These are all unanswered questions. I still love yu yu hakusho but because of the former I feel that the plot is incoherent. If I didnt miss anything from the previous episodes I can conclude that humans and demons could never live peacefully because demons rely on humans for food. The questions is are all demons ready to starve to death like raizen?
Great show.. never faultered when came to action and
suspense none the less, I hate knowing this is how it ends.

think the Yusuke and Keiko moment could of been a bit more
romantic after everything they went through, and Kuwabara and Yukina should of put officially
together. I love seeing all the loose ends be put
to rest for Yusuke
& Kurama, but I would of loved to see Yukina find out
Hiei was her brother.. should of had some sort of sequal
but still fantastic series! Not sure why some say last
two seasons were bad, least their not a bunch of filler
s like Naruto is. Going to miss it!
I am also sad because i loved Yu YU, i wish they would do more. what happens to yu yu and keko, do they get maried?? i wish they would not end this it made me sad because this is one of the great anime shows ever.

Thought it was good. Hard to find an Anime that accomplished what this one did. Sure the fact that hiei never told yukina that he was her brother was kinda shitty but it just didn’t seem like hiei’s personality so it would’ve been outa place. Idk wish the creator would make another anime like this.
I spent all my late nights this passed month watching all four seasons from start to end. This was an awesome ending, but now I’m sad. I could go and watch a new series… but I have to get over Yu Yu Hakusho first lol.

I feel like a part of me died when the series ends. That might sound a little drastic but a part of me became attached while watching this anime. This is my second time watching it all the way through and I get the same feeling every time I watch the last episode. A mixture of closure and still wanting more. A mixture of happiness and sadness. I wish it would show what life is like now that Yusuke has returned.

this anime is far better than dbz could ever be…even better than dbz kai which has no fillers, even though dbz is the most popular, yyh is simply the best…fourth time seeing the series and still satisfied every time i see it, i need another to see all the way through…ive seen naruto all the way through, ive seen db, dbz, and dbgt all the way through along with all the movies, gonna watch both of the yyh movies again
