Episode Summary
The round between Team Urameshi and Team Masho is almost over. Only one fight remains, Risho vs. Kuwabara. The fight has already started, and Kuwabara is being beat up pretty bad. Risho continues to hammer Kuwabara, and then starts to use his Shinobi mastery of earth. He creates advanced armor, and reigns more furious meteor attacks on the weak Kuwabara. With all his spirit energy exhausted, Kuwabara decideds to use a desperate measure, but someone is in the audience calling to him. Who is it? Will they give Kuwabara the strength to continue?

Bakken vs. Kurama – Bakken
Bakken vs. Yusuke – Yusuke
Jin vs. Yusuke – Tie (was declared double LOSS in ep. 41 by the tourney commitee)
Risho vs. Kuwabara – Kuwabara thats 4 after the end of this ep. but since they need 5 they fudged the math
Pay attention to the episode please. A tie is both a win and a loss. That’s why during the episode they say that the score is 4-2 prior to Kuwabara’s victory. By you’re own account that second victory had to have come from the Jin and Yusuke fight. Yusuke’s team has 5 let me spell that for you FIVE F-I-V-E wins…

yeah they were suppost to have 5 but since the shinobi team didnt have anybody else left to fight yusuke’s team won by default
You are mistaken forgive me for not knowing names, but, there was makeup dude, ice dude, sweat dude, Jin, and then Risho….which totals up to five.
The Jin/Yusuke match was retroactively called a draw to stop Yusuke from competing against Risho. The committee announced it was to be considered a double loss. Therefore, Team Urameshi didn’t get the win that round. Kurama beat Gama and Touya, Yusuke beat Bakken, Jin and Yusuke’s match gets thrown out, then Kuwabara defeats Risho. Team Urameshi: 4, Team Masho: 0. No one got 5 victories, but Team Masho didn’t have any fighters left, disqualifying them.
