Episode Summary
After years of searching, Hiei finally returns to his homeland, the Ice World. Hiei clearly remembers the traumatic banishing he was forced to endure. But despite his many losses, one thing was never far from his mind…complete and utter revenge! But to complete his mission Hiei must first survive an encounter with yet another demon from his past.

It seems like Kurama is the ony one with a bunch of tricks up his sleeve. He has his favorite weapon, but he also has thousands of plants at his disposal. Hiei is a definetly a bad ass, but Kurama rivals him. The spirit gun and dragon of darkness are both quick deaths. I don’t want to fuck with that mind controling tree thing when he fought the elder Tugoro.
Oh wow, out of 82 views, the rating is still 10, thats the only episode that has that (i think) must be a favorite for all of you

XD hiei has such a creepy look in his eyes ever since he was a baby, and he thinks for like 5 mins, in like 20 milliseconds!, while the statue sliced in half…cool
There’s no doubt, Hiei is an awesome character. Although I’m a Kurama fan, can’t help but acknowledge that Hiei’s amazing too. Such a sad past he had though…It’s too bad he still refuses to tell Yukina the truth D: Anyway, let’s give it up for HIEI!

im in love with him no matter what kind of past he had… he’s one hot and and bad ass dude who had a lot of trouble in his life. if you think of it, hiei hasn’t experienced the feeling of being loved, so is it any wonder he can have an attitude? EXACTLY! but he’s also caring because if he wasnt, would have told Yukina that he was her brother once he could(i cot he couldn’t at this point in the timeline), but he thought she wouldn’t too happy to find out her brother was a thief and a criminal…. HELLO!
anyway… this way just to prove my point…. hiei it the bomb and is the best character in the whole series!!!!!!!
Ok first of all I’m sick of people comparing Dragonball and Yu Yu Hakusho. They’re both different mangas and anime with similar style. But I’m also more sick of people not knowing jack and keep saying that Yu Yu came first. No it didn’t. The Dragonball series came out in 1984 (Manga that is) And then anime came out in 1986 till both the anime and manga ended in 1996 (excluding GT cause its not cannon)While The Yu Yu Hakusho series came out 1990 till the manga ended in 1994 and the anime ended a year later 1995. so its 10 years of the WHOLE Dragonball series and 5 years for The Yu Yu Hakusho series. Note you have to count Dragonball as well as DBZ cause its part of the series.
So no Yu Yu Hakusho didn’t come first it came after. But none of that even matters cause there both great mangas and anime probably the best of all time.
PS: I know all of this because its common knowledge everyone should know this unless you’re a new comer to anime and manga in general. Plus I’ve read all 42 volumes of Dragonball and all 19 volumes i think? of Yu Yu Hakusho.

i personally enjoyed yuyu hakusho,its been around so long but i was also brought up with pokemon and yugioh, they should make series and caracters and also heie should eventually tell his sis for real ,and i want to see kurraburas face when he finds too and so would alot of fans im sure , my fav characters are hiei and karuma both inteligent and quick.
so im confused if dey cant mate wit a men do dey mate wit each orher or on a full moon dey get pregnant wit a grl i mean kinda confused but hiei’s eyes is hilarious as a baby and im not tryna relate da 2 but every show got like der naruto and sasuke or goku and vegeta in 1 way or another i find it interesting

Anyways, as explained in the episode (sorta), they kinda just get pregnant every 100 years. It’s actually not as unnatural as it sounds, the animal world has quite a few animals that can give birth without mating via cloning themselves. Bees and snakes are two examples that have been known to reproduce via cloning, and they recently found an all-female species of lizard that reproduces via cloning as well. AND THAT’S MY SCIENTIFIC THEORY OF HOW ICE-PEOPLE “DO IT.”
